Trauma Therapists in Denver, Colorado

Meet our Therapists

Raphaelle Cuenod, LCSW

Co-Founder & Clinical Director

Raphaelle is not accepting new clients at this time.

Raphaelle’s clinical path spans a wide range of settings that shaped both her skill and her perspective. She has worked with children and teens ages 5–18 through outpatient home-based therapy, provided care to women experiencing complex mental health challenges at a women's center on Skid Row in Los Angeles, and served youth in a juvenile detention center. These experiences gave her a profound respect for resilience and for the many forms healing can take when people are truly seen.

Raphaelle brings advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) — two of the most evidence-supported modalities for trauma healing. She also holds training in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy through IPI, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and is a credentialed yoga instructor.

In her role as Clinical Director, Raphaelle ensures that every therapist at Centerpoint is not working alone — they're backed by thoughtful guidance, ongoing learning, and a community committed to excellence. When you work with a Centerpoint clinician, her experience and oversight are part of your care.

Therapist & Community-Rooted Clinician

CBT · Solution-Focused Therapy · Family Systems · Motivational Interviewing

Before my work as a therapist, I spent years serving others as a probation officer, a crisis specialist, and a youth basketball coach (where you can still find me most Friday nights). Those years taught me how to connect with people who had no reason to trust me yet. That's still the foundation of how I work.

I support adolescents, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, family conflict, life transitions, and the everyday weight of being human.

In our work together, I am warm and direct, bringing an evidence-based, person-centered approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness techniques, and family systems work to help you build practical tools to regulate and make different choices in your daily life. In practice, that means honest conversations, real strategies, and a focus on what you actually want your life to look like.

Most of my clients are:

  • Adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, or identity development

  • Adults working on long-standing patterns in a practical, action-oriented way

  • Families working through communication breakdowns and repairing relationships

  • Men and fathers working through what culture and race taught them about strength, emotion, and how to show up in their relationships

I'm an associate-level therapist at Centerpoint Healing, working toward licensure under clinical supervision. I work with clients in person and via telehealth in Denver, CO, and am currently accepting new clients.

In addition to individual and family work, I run groups and workshops throughout the year, including a group specifically for fathers.

I accept Aetna and Optum/UnitedHealthcare insurance and welcome private pay clients.

Current fees:

  • Individual Therapy: $180 (50 minutes)

  • Couples Therapy: $210 (50 minutes)

  • Family Therapy: $210 (50 minutes)

Kelly Gant | MA, LPCC, E-RYT

Somatic Therapist & Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher

EMDR I & II · Internal Family Systems · Somatic Psychology · Gestalt

You may be someone who has done deep inner work and spent years in therapy. Or you may be newer to this, simply noticing that something feels off. Your body tense, disconnected, or constantly braced. You might understand why these patterns exist, or you may just know they're getting in the way of how you want to live. When insight alone hasn't brought the relief you hoped for, we shift toward safety and nervous system regulation, and give your body a chance to do what it already knows how to do.

Healing is rarely linear. It's a journey of stops and starts that uncovers, examines, experiments with, and integrates experiences. I often describe my role as something like a guide or GPS. You bring the wisdom of your lived experience, and together we identify possible trailheads to explore. Sessions may involve talking, mindful awareness, gentle movement, grounding practices, or memory reprocessing, depending on what feels most useful. My role is to help you orient along the way and move at a pace that feels right.

What I draw from:

  • Somatic psychology & nervous system-informed care

  • EMDR (trained through the EMDR Institute)

  • Mindfulness, Gestalt & parts work

  • Creative exploration

  • Trauma-informed yoga & adaptive yoga (16+ years)

My approach is person-centered, holistic & collaborative. I've spent over 16 years in somatic trauma work and understand the therapeutic relationship as a physical and energetic experience. We draw from these modalities based on what you need, not a predetermined plan.

As a fellow traveler who has navigated PTSD myself, I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to this work. That history is part of how I practice.

Who I work with:

  • Adults navigating anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, or shutdown

  • People who have spent years in talk therapy and want to work differently

  • Those newer to therapy who notice their body holding what they haven't been able to say

  • Individuals healing from trauma, PTSD, or complex trauma histories

I am an associate-level therapist at Centerpoint Healing, working toward licensure under clinical supervision. I see clients in person and via telehealth in Denver and Evergreen, CO, and am currently accepting new clients.

In addition to individual therapy, I offer workshops throughout the year for those looking to explore this work in a group setting.
